Mavericks Lose 52-46
It's raining three's and we have no umbrella in sight!  That had to be the feeling of the Mavericks in the first
half at the Bowie gym Tuesday night.  Bowie bombed the Mavericks from way beyond the 3-point arc to
race to a 16-2 first quarter lead and a 32-18 half-time lead.  In the second half  however, the Mavericks
turned up the defensive pressure and only trailed 40-29 leading into the fourth quarter.  The Mavericks
chipped away at that lead and got as close as 48-42, but Bowie proved they could also shoot free throws
down the stretch and held on for a 52-46 win.  Kenny Lewis led the Mavericks with his third double-double
of the season, contributing 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Mavericks return home on December 2 to take on Hendrickson.
