the final 12 minutes of the contest, but still managed the victory to stay atop the district with a 4-1 mark.
Similar to its last contest with Cedar Park, free throws proved to be the difference in the game, and again,
Kenny Lewis stepped up to the line late to secure the victory. Leading Westwood 47-43 with .25 seconds to
play, Lewis connected on back to back freebies to ice the victory.
LC Alexander led the Mavericks in scoring 17 points.
The Mavericks now prepare to take on Round Rock next Tuesday night at the Maverick gym.
