the third quarter, seemed to wake the Mavericks in their win over Henderickson 67-58 at the Maverick
gym Tuesday night. Behind strong inside play, Henderickson seemed to beat the Mavericks to every
rebound and easily garnered second and third shots at the basket during the first half, leading the
Mavericks 19-15 at the end of the first quarter, and held a 31-27 half time lead.
Kyle Martin's three pointer finally gave the Mavericks a 34-33 lead at the 5:15 mark in the 3rd quarter and
the Mavericks never looked back.
Javian Johnson and Anthony Davenport paced the Mavericks with 19 and 18 points respectively, and now
prepare to lead the Mavericks against opening round opponent Anderson High in the McNeil Classic this
December 4-6.
