Men’s Basketball Head Coach Darrell Hagemann graduated from Llano High School in 1980. He went on
to Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.
He spent 3 years in Belton coaching basketball and football. In 1988 he became Assistant Basketball
Coach at Westwood High School in Round Rock. His first head coaching position was in Lake Travis
during the 1991-92 school year. After the year at Lake Travis, he moved to McNeil High School as the first
and only head basketball coach in the history of the school.
Coach Hagemann is starting his 16th year at McNeil High School.
